Re: Skyline Wall (Burrows Pass)
This is my very favorite shore dive in Washington. The bottom of the wall max is about 90fsw. It is worth running this as there are numerous undercuts and small caves (big enough for fish but not you) at the base of the wall. They have all kinds of critters in them including some of the biggest rock...

Re: Scuba Garage overhaul
I have used various iterations of racks, bins, etc over the years, but the most important thing in my mind is rapid drying of the gear. Re: Would heliox make as good a deco gas as nitrox?
In deep trimix diving, with bottom mixes of say 14/60, the majority of tissue loading at the beginning of the ascent will be with helium. So in pracitce, deco is usually accellerated by weaning off helium as soon as IBCD permits for the same reasons you proposed about heliox as a deco gas for offgas...

Re: Chosing Deco gas (50, or 80+)
My concept for deco gasses is that they serve one primary purpose; to speed decompression. That being said, the more gasses one carries, the faster deco can be done, but the more cumbersome the equipment configuration. So the trade off has to be between faster deco, and simpler gear configuration. P...
