Where is the best place to get some work done in the Seattle/Tacoma area?

Re: Ink
Are you adding to that lower back tattoo of yours or is this the unicorn art you have been wanting?

Re: Ink
Ink is highly subjective. If you know what kind of art you want, it will be easier to point you in the right the direction. Some guys do old school well, some Asian, some shading.

My last tat was in 1985 and it cost 45.00
I would like to have that on freshened up to start with.
The shading technique is what Ive been drawn to as I've been looking at different pieces and I think that a wolf eel would look great using that style....

If you're willing to make the drive to Lynnwood, Michael Gardner does great work. He used to work at Super Genius Tattoo in Seattle off Pike, but moved into his own studio a couple years ago. Here's his page if you want to check out his work. He did my large entire back piece and it looks awesome.

Re: Ink
His work is pretty amazing. I'll have to head up there soon and check the shop out.
Thanks!
Thanks!

That IS impressive. I don't know him, but I do know one of the founders of super genius, Damien. Great guy, and he only works with real talent.finnegankp wrote:If you're willing to make the drive to Lynnwood, Michael Gardner does great work. Damien is an awesome guy. And I agree with what Josh said, he only ever had talented artists in his shop. Michael does good work. I'll have to snap a picture of piece and throw it up here so you can see that he's worth looking into for sure. I know you wouldn't be dissapointed.

Re: Ink
Just saw this over on The Scuttlefish. Just think what could be done with a set of dubs or a RB.
The photograph is a picture of the apparently nerveless bearer of this inking, Tony Neal, who was diving over the E49 submarine wreck near the Shetlands when it was taken.
