Continued down the line noting a ton of little fish everywhere until we reached the end at about 85ft. While the other 2 dive buddies were poking around looking for Octos I happened to scan out towards deeper water and saw something large moving that was just outside of visual/light range. When it finally came into view I couldn't believe what I saw. Flashed my buddies frantically until they looked up from what they were doing, and by the time I turned around it had come into camera range. Not the best photos out there, but I wasn't planning on seeing a sixgill. It was around 7ft long judging by how it looked when I swam over top of it.

Once it swam away, we made our way north and shallower, looking for more stuff. Ended up finding a small Octo battling a Sculpin for the remnants of a crab.

All in all, a great dive. Worth the cold, even in a wetsuit. I've already reported the sighting to the Aquarium for their Sixgill data.
