Re: No Mask drills with contacts
I was wondering about that myself, so I waited until my one-month lenses were at the end of their useful life, and got in the pool. I did mask flood and clear, remove and replace all with my eyes open and contacts in. They didn't act up at all, so I tried swiming around :snorkel: under water with th...

Where's Pez? 7:00pm April 20th at the Mukilteo city hall. The more divers in attendance the better. PEZ!! He and Joe were busy setting up an appointment with the makeup artist for the photo shoot before the meeting. Plus I heard Joe was insisting on a red carpet or he wouldn't show ...

Re: What to do about the silt
The secret to fixing the problem is to educate people that there IS a problem, and then help show them there is an answer, too. You're not going to change the whole scuba world, but it's amazing how many people make use of information if they find it. Is there a curriculum for an open water student...

I'm not really sure if this will work, but I believe it can.......... But what is it that we don't share? How many of us, have learned the "hard" lessons, but are too afraid to tell the story for fear of judgment? I say to heck with it, these stories need to be told. Great thread, PEZ! Th...

Re: Definiton of cylinder working pressure
While on these boards people like Mr.Sounder did an excellent job of making me feel stupid. Yeah, me too - he really knows his stuff. :book: but every time I get taken to task, I learn more and that's what really matters. Plus, when I start to feel stupid, I can just compare myself with PEZ and don...

I'm not qualified to properly answer this question as I am only starting to learn this myself, but I wanted to respond right away to point you in the right direction and warn you that you should probably get the kinks out of this before you dive. Your life depends on it!! I'd appreciate some clarifi...

I won't fault Ms. Brenner too much, as she seemed to be operating under guidance from an insurance company, both in the original ban and the "Scuba diving not recommended" signage. (I find it easy to blame insurance companies for stupid rules, maybe that's just me though) True - Jennifer ...

This is exactly the reason I have as many tanks as I do. No, you have all those tanks because you have a tank acquisition problem. You can't help yourself. I could quit anytime I wanted to. I agree with John- the parks people need to be educated by those of you who have experience with how this activity brings value to the community. (scientific, social, economic, recreational)
