Re: INMAR RIBS

I still have the 19' skiboat for going out and going far/fast. This is the going for short trips out in the rain and roughish weather boat. The zodiac I have is a 12.5' ft Fish N' Hunt with an 18hp. It's open deck with a box in it for a seat. It's light enough that I can launch it even when the end ...

Re: INMAR RIBS

Current boat is a SIB, I was thinking of one of these to replace it. Part of me wants to go Aluminum RIB, but I use it just for running around close to home in the south sound, and I can buy ~3 SIB's for the cost of a RIB..... I saw one of the patrol series up in the san juans and they look pretty w...

INMAR RIBS

Since I trust the opinions of people here more than random internet ratings, anybody have any experience with INMAR RIBs? My Zodiac is starting to fall apart on me and it's time to replace it. Spec's wise I think they look pretty sweet, but I have no personal experience with them. Thanks! https://ww...

Avoid the smoke, let's go diving Wednesday!

I figure the best way to avoid the ill effects of all the wildfire smoke in the air is to go breathe hyper-filtered compressed air for an hour or so. Anybody want to hit EUP or Muk on Wednesday afternoon? (around 3-4:00) Tide looks like it will be high, and that should be pretty close to slack, so n...

N end dive 7/18 or 7/19

Anybody want to hit Muk, or Edmonds this Thursday or Friday?

Currents look like doing the clay wall, though that would have to be Thursday to avoid the Wednesday market.

Can't do early tomorrow, too much work, but I will keep that in mind if I can cut out early one day.

Misc gear for sale.

I've collected a lot of random stuff over time, and some of it has got to go. GG1.jpg GG2.jpg GG3.jpg Golem Gear 55lb doubles wing. They don't get tougher than GG. Early afternoon. I still Cuda! Battery is old and in need of repair, but no problem scooting to the clay wall.

Honudavis, if we scoot the wall one of us could tie you out there.

Mukilteo 6/5 or 6/6?

Anybody want to go hit Muk next week in the afternoon Tuesday or Wednesday?

Currents look pretty do-able for the clay walls, or we could go hit the silver cloud.

Re: Sund Rock changes

I've only done sund rock once (at the club dive) and it's a pretty good spot with easy access and lots to see. $15 is what I paid to do flagpole out of Mike's Beach a few years ago (no idea what they charge now) so that's not all that out of line. For me the bigger issue than the cost of access is t...

Any suggestions as to where to get a good IP gauge?

I made mine out of a fitting from an old BC inflator and a compressor gauge from Home depot. Works fine.

Re: North End Dive 5/23?

Cool, meet up at ~3:30 then? I've only got one full tank right now, but should be plenty for a long tour around EUP. Looks like there might be a bit of current that afternoon, but manageable.

I'm in an old red Toyota Corolla.

See what I mean about being out of the water too much lately? I should have said Wednesday afternoon, I have to work until around 3:00 in Everett.

Thanks Chris, we should go take a spin around the geodome again sometime.

North End Dive 5/23?

Lately I haven't been diving as much as I used to, and it's time to remedy that. Anybody up for a North end dive (Muk, edmonds) this Wednesday?

I'd be up for tooling around EUP, or hitting the Silver cloud at muk.

Anybody up for it let me know.

Re: Drysuit boot replacement

Thanks Jess. I'm going to try just buying the boots and putting them on myself first. I'll save that place for if I fail epically. Although 200 for parts and labor is pretty cheap since most of the boots I have found so far are around 120-150.
