Take the teasing in stride, it's just good natured. There is nothing wrong with a Spare Air. Before deciding, I'm researching whether a custom / home made solution will work just as well. I want color, but it does not have to be HD. SD is just fine for the purpose.

I've seen too many new divers overweighted and near drowning on the surface, or underweighted and unable to dive. All because they can't remember how much weight they carried on the last dive.
