I found these sponges at Cove 2 in a jack straw by the honey bear.
Any idea what these are??

I heard there was a diver pulled from the water yesterday at Redondo.

Yes IPE is a very serious condition, but I haven't heard of anyone locally having that diagnosis and its not actually common either. Twice in one week would be an unbelievable rate. Eggs or crab guts?

Had a Fun dive at Redondo today with my buddy Tami. We went down the big rope to the carousel boat and just before the tire reef we came along a sun star eating a crab. The bright orange belly of the crab looks like eggs....I think Can anyone tell me for sure? IMG_1130.JPG IMG_1131.JPG IMG_1130.JPG
