Re: Weekender Dive Buddy For Alki Coves

I'm in for a future date, just not this weekend. I've been dry for a few months, due to ear/sinus issues. Starting shallow and working deeper is just fine, and I love showing new divers around, so I'll keep you in mind as I start getting back in the water.

Well, this may be discussed to death on internet forums, but it's still a fascinating conversation to have. Even though I'm JAFO, I'm still enjoying the passionate and respectful exchange of ideas.

Carry on!

Re: Need suggestions on Wetsuits

I don't know what the water temps are like in the Philippines, but in 78-80 degree water, my 3mm Henderson Hyperstretch (which I think is the precursor to the H2) is great, provided I wear a hood. In fact, I'll probably buy a 5mm H2 suit before my next tropical trip. They're really stretchy, so you ...

I can access PMs via TT on my 1st gen Motorola Droid. Although, no one's sent me one recently, so I'm just looking at the archive.

Today's Groupon

Is a snorkeling tour in Friday Harbor with NakNek! Probably not as exciting as diving, but if you have non diving partners, this would be a good intro!

Thanks everybody! It was a pretty quiet day filled with work, but I got some good treats. There will be a big blowout at the house in the next couple of weeks-you all will of course be invited! I'm hoping to start diving more regularly here in the next month or so, once we get moved into our new pla...

Re: iPhone Craziness

I have the original Motorola Droid. It burns out pretty quick, but I've learned new behaviors to keep it charged. I just looked at aftermarket batteries on Amazon. There's a pretty cool 2800 mAh battery for the Droids, but it makes your phone look like it has a huge tumor on the back. Don't know how...

Speaking of long hoses... My first dive with a long hose, I routed it under my light canister, across my body, under my left arm, and around my neck. I spent the whole dive wondering why I could turn my head left... Should've actually asked someone how to route it. I have descended multiple times w...
