Re: Swimming

I have found that bringing a 2 person raft into the picture a very useful safety tool. I used to swim lakes in Washington and would tie the raft to my belt loop.

Re: Absurd question for the ladies

First, I am not a lady, but most of all congratulations. You could use light weight gloves, inexpensive from several home-like stores. I use some for diving float based dives in warm environments to avoid hand cuts. Another approach is to put your hand(s) in your bc pockets when times require. In mo...

Re: NWDC Activity...

I do not comment very often, but I do check this site at least every week. All events have cycles, at times there are "issues" and I do believe the weather will also influence activity. I do know that where I currently am, diving is a bit tricky. I live in Michigan, so it is a long jump ge...

I typically go to Key Largo every March (spring break). I enjoy diving with Rainbow Reef. Have a great diving year.

Dive on Saturday or Sunday

Hello all,

Coming from Michigan to the Seattle area this weekend and I am bringing my dive gear. I have some experience in the Sound and would like to get several dives in over the week. I do about know about MMM and WWW, and hope these are still occurring.

Thanks for your time.

Re: Monday Monstrous Mukilteo Madness and Mayhem 08/31

Hello all, Just a note of thanks for the MMM on August 10. I really enjoyed the dive. It was the only one I got to do with the dive luggage going elsewhere Sunday and the family showing up Monday night. I had not ever been in that location. If ya'all are ever in Michigan, I can show you some things....

Re: Monday dive? 8/10/09

Now that I have my gear, it went to Las Vegas and did not come back broke, I am interested in a dive or 2 on Monday afternoon.

Where?

Re: Better late than never

Lauri, I will try to make it. I got into the Seattle area late as Chicago had a real weather attitude. I still have to get get my rental vehicle and tank. And there is the thing about my dive bag being on a flight to Las Vegas. First time in many, many years I have had that problem, but I am interes...

Re: Better late than never

Hello all again, I arrive late on Saturday and will need to pick up a car and tank(s), thus the conservative timing of Sunday afternoon. I suggested the south spots due to convenience to the airport hotel and where I grew up. Alki, Seacrest and point north like Edmonds are great for me too, new as w...

New to the NW Dive Club

Hello all, I am new to this group. I am SSI cert'ed DCS and Dive Master, with over 130 dives, most of which are freshwater dives in the Great Lakes. I first cert'ed NAUI with New England Divers in 1973. Besides Seattle, my other dive areas include Key Large (Speigel Grove), Cancun, Couzmel, Myrtle B...

Better late than never

Hello folks, I just found this dive board. I will be coming to the Seattle area, I live in Michigan, and was wondering if anyone would like to dive on Sunday afternoon and/or Monday. I prefer Redondo or the new park at Salt Water Park, but I am intersted in other areas as well. Any interest? Thanks ...
