Curious if anyone has some recommendations on sites near Cabo San Lucas. Looking for sites that are less than a 2 hour drive from Cabo. Not looking for a live-aboard situation (hopefully next time). FYI: we will be in Cabo the first week of January, in case the time of the year impacts the condition...

Zombieland was freaking awesome indeed. Loved everything except one part: they didn't show him decapitate that one zombie with the loppers! What gives? Come on now... :angry:

Dived the channel islands last week (off the coast of Santa Barbara) and the water temp was between 65 and 68 degrees.

Also did a couple dives in Monterrey last week, temperatures dropped to 55 degrees.

Humboldt squid: I'll take a pass. Without a big camera aparatus as a shield, Humboldt tentacles suddenly feel much more threatening. Those things attack anything that moves, including each other.

Just asking for peoples' advice or experience:

What is considered to keep you warmer, a jumpsuit, or farmer john/jane and step-through jacket combo? I've heard differing opinions.
