Hey Bob, \:D/ Yea! the pictures are awesome!.. I love the little guys in the pipe.. They look like they are comfy there.. The sling worked really well. Easy to dive with and operate.. The only thing I realized after the dive, was as I am fully integrated I wonder how hard it would be for me to drop...

I started diving in March, and I felt that was pretty cold still.. I am in a wetsuit and I am fine. Try using wool socks.. Once my feet are warm the rest of me follows suit. And bring warm water in a cooler to pour on you during your SIT time... I usually got coldest waiting out long sits... I wasn...

Hey Matt, If you know where Salty's is in Redondo... (city of DesMoines) there is a parking lot accross the street from it.. Pretty much where all the divers meet. If you are facing the water the parking lot is on the left... I hope that makes sence. There are steps down to the water accross the st...

Hi Enigmatic, I am down in the South end (Federal Way) so doing an 8 am dive for me would probably mean doing something a little closer to my neck of the woods. It looks like there is going to be a pretty good exchange starting around 8:00 also.. So you would want to go some where, where tides aren...

Now, if you're talking schlepping 100 pounds of gear to and from the dive sites and tromping in and out of the water, up and down hill with said gear, then YES it is work!!! That's what gets me... can give you names of a few sites where just getting in and out of the water is a big enough challenge...

Hi Janna, Thanks for the info.. I noticed on one of the sites that there is a place for donations.. That is probably the best a lot of us can do to help the situation. Other than not using pesticides on our lawns, not washing our cars where it can run off into the sewers (recycled carwashes people)...

It is really sad to see these... We all have our favorite fishy friends and mine happens to be ling cod.. Those photos make me very sad... What can we do to help this situation? How do we make people aware of this? Can we get it on the local news? People need to see how horrifying it is... Otherwis...

Thanks for the claification Janna, I too hope that I can still convince my buddy to come and dive. Another question to ask is: How can we get the non-diving public to see something like the devistation that is happening there (the pictures were very sad) and become aware? How can we as divers help ...

Hi Janna, I was kind of bummed that we were changing the venue.. My buddy who lives from paycheck to paycheck will probably not be able to make it now. I could try to pay her way but then she would just get mad at me. :angryfire: Also, I was wondering about Sund rock and the low Oxegyn event that i...

We are planning on doing 3 dives. Meeting about 9:30 means we will hopefully be in the water around 10: or so.. I haven't checked tides yet... #-o so I don't know what max depth is going to be.. I figure we are probably going to cruise around 70'-65' on the 1st dive, On the ledges probably on the p...

Hi Bob, Thanks for the invite! Let me know when is good for you. I can usually dive after work on W-F around 5:30 or later... On Saturdays and Sundays I can usually dive in the mornings or whenever. I would probably want to try someplace familiar with a new setup. If you think I should go to your G...

Hi CaptianJack, Don't get me wrong.. I would never dive without my buddy and yes, he is there for redundant gas. However, in the unlikely event that he couldn't get his octo to me in time, because it got stuck or something else (this happened to the couple at Cove 2 if I am not mistaken) I would lik...
