Cozumel Dive Operator Recommendation?

Hi Team NDC,
I have a friend en route to Cozumel who just asked for a recommendation of a dive outfit.
He is not a beginner but hasn't dove in a few years. Anyone on the Island that you recommend?
Thanks,
DT

Warmest Dry Glove Liners?

Hi Club Crew,
Finally making the jump to dry gloves. What liners do you find to be the best combo of warmth and dexterity ?
Thanks,
DT

Best Fish and Critter ID Books for Lembeh and Bunaken?

Hello Fellow Fish and Critter Geeks,
Does anybody have recommendations for fish and critter id books for the Coral Triangle? Specifically Lembeh and Bunaken although it would be a nice bonus to have them be usable for the Philippines as well.
Thanks,
DT

Travel BCD-WTB - Want to buy or Borrow

Hi Folks,
I got a last minute opportunity to do my trip of a lifetime and am looking for a medium or possibly large travel BCD to borrow or buy.
I'm 5"9'' 170 lbs. I leave for Lembeh Sept 16th (don't hate me!)
Thanks,
Dave

Mpenders
That was at the Junkpile last February 13th. A couple of octo researchers have weighed in on it and believe it to be an attempted cannibalism event.

Red Rock Crab Behavior Question

https://vimeo.com/202536788 Found this upside down gravid red rock crab at the Junkpile a few weeks back As you can see from the video her mouth parts are moving and there is an occasional movement in her legs. I observed her for several minutes and there was no change in the behavior pattern. What ...

Crazy Gunnel Color Morphs!

Doubting Gunnel and I dove Cove 2 last week. Viz was obscured by a couple of friendly seals hunting by our lights, (accompanied by much through-the-regulator grumbling from my 100mm toting buddy :P.) We did however come across these two Gunnels in amazing color morphs. Has anyone seen these colors b...

Re: Ocean Quest 11/22

Great to dive with you all yesterday.
Heres a quick bit of Octo behaviour I caught at the end of the KVI dive.
Inspiration for tomorrow's Thanksgiving aftermath perhaps?

How an Octopus does the dishes - KVI

Great trip yesterday on the Ocean Quest with HBax, ScubaJess, Doubting Gunnel,Dan, Kilii and Yelloweye.
Near the end of the 2nd dive I came across this GPO doing a little den cleanup. Inspiration for tomorrow's Thanksgiving aftermath perhaps?

Re: Sculpin vs Crab - Video

Update on this. Crab Guru Greg Jensen says the engulfee was most likely a newly molted "soft shell" crab because of the way it bends as it goes down the hatch.
