Re: BazillionQuestionsRegardingGearConfiguration
So, I guess my big question is what are people using to shore dive (I see Shore Diving as my primary mode)? What are the bottom times like? Depending on the site; anything from single AL80's to rebreathers, and everything in between. Geology of the Puget Sound makes for varied sites; some are shall...

Re: Anyone have a Cochran Analyst file?
Hi! Did try subsurface? This is a log viewer that works for a variety of computers. I use Subsurface for downloading my logged dives, and it works great so far, but it's not able to configure the Cochran. He's a member here - https://nwdiveclub.com/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=133 Thank you!

Anyone have a Cochran Analyst file?
I bought a Cochran EMC16 with Analyst from NWSD, way long ago. That original Analyst software requires a registration to use. Unfortunately divecochran.com is no more, and emails to Service@DiveCochran.com bounce back. I found an old email from Service@DiveCochran.com replying to my last registratio...

Re: In Memoriam: Lynne Flaherty (LCF, TSandM)
I learned of Lynn's disappearance late (today), and can't believe it. I remember talking with her about diving and medicine when she'd visit the dive shop I worked at. She and Peter never failed to brighten the day when they walked in. She exemplified what was good and positive in the SCUBA communit...

If you're not wandering to a pub after your diving, you're diving all wrong.

Re: Dumbe question about under armour
Underarmor was developed to feel like cotton but wick sweat more efficiently than cotton. It does the latter well and the former not-so-well (depending on individual body/skin chemistry). It will provide some insulation by virtue of the fact that it's a layer that can trap air or water next to the s...
