actually as far as trimming goes, can't do that. It is already too loose (cause I lost some weight) and leaks a bit over the course of a dive. So I have the usual latex neck seal on my dry suit. And like many others I hate it. :) And i am sure neoprene wouldn't be much better. It is the pressure on my throat that I dislike the most, always feels like I am in a sleeper hold... Someone mentioned that they had seen a collar that had a gel lik...

And strangely, after I posted here (related or not) I did get a notification for general discussion, but just one. Then notifications for that stopped. And I didn't get any for Oregon divers (the other forum I watch).

I am sure for $50 they will sell me another book. And it will be just like the ones I have, taking 50 pages to cover what can be covered in 1. All I really want is a skills cheatsheet. I know I have seen people with them before when I dove down in Monterey 5 years ago... so was just hopping someone ...

Actually I already have the class scheduled... I am trying to study up for it.
And I have the manuals. The trouble is the info is all spread out. I am trying to find something with the info all in one place. Like a cheatsheet for the basic skills.

yes and no... I got the notification of the post you made in response to this thread. But I can see on my control panel that other posts have been made in forums I am watching after you made the post that you tweaked a setting, and I didn't get notification about them. I am getting back into diving... It's been a few years... I looked through all my old materials including a copy of an instructors manual... And I just can't find a nice concise list of the basic skills and how they are supposed to be done. I was a PADI diver... So something that had the 18 (or so) ...

I set up subscriptions for two forums. And I can see them in my user control panel. But I am not getting the e-mails anymore. I did get them for like a week. And then they stopped. I didn't even get notifications for replys to my own post (which is also shown as subscribed to in the control panel). ...

So I know there is a NW dive club dive next weekend. I want to come up, but my house is in the process of being sold, and I think we will have to pack that weekend. But how often are these club dives, every month? quarter?
