Why?

Anyone have experience with it? ISC describes it as an entry level and/or bailout rebreather.

I tweaked my back pretty good last night moving furniture. I was hoping I would recover during sleep. Unfortunately, this didn't happen and I won't be able to dive. However, I will bring coffee and donuts as restitution.

Kitsapdiver, I don't think you opened a can of worms at all. In fact, I think you bring up some valid points about oxygen enriched gas. You and others who assume oxygen to be narcotic have the lion's share of knowledge and experience. My response is based solely on my experience: I have not yet dove...
