Hey. Off Yaquina Head in Newport there is the handicapped accessible tidepools, which are lame, but offer a decent easy entry to the ocean. At this former rock quarry (turned tidepool by the BLM) is an opening to the sea, where you can dive around the head, keeping the ledge to the right (if you go ...

Glad to have found you! I am looking for dive buddies in the Newport area. I am newly certified with PADI and have my own gear (minus dive wetsuit yet). Eager to do meet some other salt water lovers and do some local dives!
