Right you are. Google search took me to a 2010 NWDC thread confirming same. Thanks!

Description but no photo

Dash Point today between 80 and 90 feet we ran across something that was orange, about 18 inches long, 1/4 diameter, a pipe fish type head and swam like a snake. It was not a worm. Any ideas?

Re: Our scuba van has arrived!

As a former F350 7.3 Powerstroke owner I will offer this piece of advise, do not make repeated short trips with it. Make sure you run it long and don't drive it like a car. Injectors are expensive! Only two other problems I had with it were the glowplug controller ($25 fix) and consequently a starte...

Starboard? Why did you steer starboard, I told you port. I distinctly recall saying steer to starboard, why don't you ever listen.

Re: The ongoing 'Dond Lumpie and Friends Show ...

Not a bad dive below about 40 fsw. Found 4 GPO's and one wolfie; not bad for it still being light out at 7p! Made a run through the bottle field and found a straggler on the way out. Some new black sandbags at the bottom of the steps and water is turned on again, no hoses as of last night and no han...

I used to go in there all the time and get lattes. So I associate lattes there with the guy (Cliff?) who owned the store and the thought of bikini baristas is a no go!

With that many sightings one would think that there would be a REEF category for them, Janna?

Re: Anonymous Mistake, "oops", or "OMG" section

My first thought is wow, some egos are too big to admit fault so have to post anonymously? Every mistake I've made diving has been a direct result of having failed to follow simple, basic pre-dive checks or something along those lines; air on? Weight on? Lost buddy procedures discussed? Turn around ...

Sund Rock 3-29

Top ten feet were absolute pea soup, opened up to 12-15 with lots of snot in the water. Couple of wolfies and octos on north wall. Lots of wolfies and several octos on south wall. Eagle showing off for us as we swam out to drop on south wall.

Re: The ongoing 'Dond Lumpie and Friends Show ...

Wasn't holding out much hope given the weather but turned out to be 2 good dives. Made entry via south beach (as per Bob) on the first dive and immediately ran into a GPO in the open. GPO's don't like it when you try to shoo them. At any rate, no picture. Ran across a couple of small Red Octo's in b...
