I'm Tim, a displaced Texan and will be taking my OW soon. I did about 7 years of snorkling in the Red Sea and Persian Gulf. I did survival swims up here while I was in the Coast Guard so I know how cold the water is so I think I'll be doing a dry suit class soon after OW.
