Hi
I can't.
FYI, I forgot to mention in our site briefing that Alki Junkyard can be current sensitive. Usually ebbs aren't too bad as they're more protected. Tomorrow's ebb should be weaker than Sunday's.

Re: 2021.11.07 - Alki Junkyard
Very cool! Glad you're getting acquainted! For the hooded nudies, they seem to vary from clear to opaque brown, with and without spots and branch-like patterns. The branches vary in color from muted blue to yellow or in your case orange. They also come in a variety of sizes. Those you saw were very ...

Looks a bit white, big and shallow for a leafy hornmouth but could be.

Yes and if you go to pnwdiving.com you can find directions.... just click the dive site then press driving directions. It will bring up the map software on your phone set to that destination.

I believe Redondo will likely be ok
Meet time is 6-6:30. Jess and I will be there 6:30 plus. Jess' car service is finishing up so hopefully we'll be okay.
There are probably 2-4 others going besides us and you.

Great!
Three tree current is not bad during an ebb.
There were reports of decent vis at Redondo on pnwdiving.com since last Thursday's mudbath -- the bad viz is only on the surface.

Howdy! Who's up for diving this Thursday? We hope to see lumpies! Bay pipefish, tons of gunnels, octos, and baby wolfies have also recently been reported.
We need to watch the wind. If the wind is bad we may hit Three Tree, or just hit the Harp directly

Re: Nov 6th & 7th?
Hi! A bunch of us are hoping to go. But the wind forecast this weekend is not looking good so far per most forecast models. You can find the wind forecast linked off here: https://pnwdiving.com/view?divesite=Keystone You want to avoid south winds much above 10knots. You can switch forecast models at...

Re: Can Someone Identify This Marine Mollusk
Could it be a moon snail? They have a shell that can look different depending on how retracted the body is, and they have what can look sometimes like a spike coming out of them. See the picture on the very far top right of http://emeralddiving.com/id_snails.html

Recent Diving (God's Pocket, Campbell River, and more)
Hi I recently enjoyed some diving in Browning Pass (God's Pocket Resort), Campbell River/Discovery Passage (Abyssal Charters), The San Juan Islands (#thebuttboat), and The Strait of Juan de Fuca (shore dives). Great diving! Here are some of the snaps! gp.jpg DSC_6268.jpg DSC_7748.jpg DSC_7953.jpg DS...

Some reports of poor viz are pouring in after the recent rains. As you may have heard, Redondo looked terrible yesterday. Would appreciate any more recent reports people have for other sites!

Glad you got out! I did see those water pictures from Redondo. Yuck!
Three Tree typically has better viz than others when the rivers are flowing with mud.
