Hi! Who's up for diving this Thursday? Does anybody have a recent viz report? Depending on viz and interest, perhaps we can go to Three Tree or the Junkyard this week (will confirm location by Thursday morning). Junkyard would be off slack but that's when you can see the neon sea fleas. Three tree h...

Re: Wolf Eel at Mukilteo T-Dock
Very cool! Such a puppy-like wolf eel!
I believe someone was bit by a wolfeel there in the past year or so, I could be wrong on that, but probably a wise move to retreat a bit.

Monterey Bay April 2021
Howdy Scuba Jess and I just got back from a road trip to go dive with our Instagram buddies @dslaterphoto and @mansonfotos who live down in Monterey, CA! We had recently hosted them for some puget sound diving (showing them lump suckers, octos, wolfeels etc) and now we wanted to go visit their turf....

Hi! I usually make sure the tide isn't too low and I usually go on a flood or mild ebb. Waves are best avoided Those factors can very much limit the number of days you can dive there. This time of year it's not often the stars align. Entry/exit can be very tough there with waves, and viz will be ver...

Re: A new type of critter watching
Very cool stuff. I know blackwater is a highlight for many going to kona. Several of us have been wanting to do blackwater in the puget sound. I think now is the time of year to do it. Lots of larva in the water. I saw a sea angel and newborn fish at Keystone the weekend before last and I saw crabs ...

Hi Who's up for diving this Thursday evening? Last week we saw a dogfish(!!), octos, several grunt sculpins, lots of aggregating pygmy poachers(!), a stimpson star(!), gunnels on eggs, a few lumpies, stubby squid, spawning clams, and opalescent nudibranchs (a cool pic of one by Scuba Jess below). 6-...

Interesting sighting Derek, especially the hydroids in mouth.

Re: BC diving this year (God's Pocket or Egmont in October?)
We have a trip booked to gp in October and possibly a trip to nakwakto in sept. Will let you know if we hear of any open spots. We will also likely rush and dive campbell river/quadra as soon as the border opens. It's a good 3 day weekend trip that requires less planning. Especially with yet another...

Oh shoot. We will miss you on Thursdays! Hope to see you on the weekends. There is a group, mostly from 8 diving that goes to Redondo on Wednesdays. They seem to be a fun group as well. They do more doubles and drills type diving from what I can tell. I can introduce you to some members if needed. T...

Hi
Welcome!
It may be a long way from Oregon but several are likely heading up to keystone this weekend, if you can take the commute and you're ready for the next step in difficulty after the more southern sites.

Redondo 3/20
Howdy! Scuba Jess and I are probably going to have a lazy day of diving at Redondo tomorrow if anyone wants to join. We will probably do at least one cleanup dive (super fun) plus a critter dive. On Thursday I saw a couple gunnels on eggs so I want to go back and get better pics! Not sure what time ...
