Re: Ocean Plastic Waste: A Problem Globally & Locally - What Can We Do?

Using a tote when everything in the tote is in plastic is not going to cut it. The ideal of the durable container is that all products would come in a reusable container.

Nice vid. I've seen some efforts at heavy duty containers for reuse/repair mentioned in the past but I haven't seen anything come out of that, have you?

Very cool! There have been reports of Candy at Edmond UWP in years past (>10 years ago though). And we saw them at keystone a couple years ago.

Re: Classes for CCR???

Hi! Welcome to the site and to the addiction! Check out Silent World, Eight Diving, Mel Clark? I think those may be the people doing it. I did rebreathers for 10 years! Several members here still are active on it. I typically stay down longer on my 130 cu ft tank than people on rebreathers do... :ro...

Re: Drysuit seal latex "melting" ? Shops to rent drysuit from?

Did you leave it in the sun or hot car for a while?

I think silent world in Bellevue rents suits, can do repair too. If you love diving you may want to consider buying a second suit off the rack.

Enjoy salt creek! I'd love to hear how the kelp is doing!

BLERG! The tides ARE bad that weekend. The inlaws are in town, so unfortunately no diving this weekend. BTW. I do not have to work on June 18th, and the tides look MUCH better that weekend. Perhaps the in-laws would love seeing Whidbey, Pickles Deli and Deception Pass :) I'm sure we'll head somewhe...

Recent site upgrade

Hi Calvin!
Thanks for the recent site maintenance!

Christa just posted what I believe is the first instagram embed on this site. Cool new feature! How do we do that? Are there other new features?
