Re: Diver rescued at Mukilteo
Was a solo diver. He was well beyond the buoy at the boat. He said he was fussing around with a ghost crab trap and ran short of air to return underwater. Aside from those issues, he surfaced in the ferry lane. I suspect that he decided to surface, lost orientation while in the water column, swam th...

Re: Vacuum pump camera leak detection systems
so far so good. i've only had it out once and it was successful. the pump/vacuum system is also great for tracking down problems. i had a persistent leak issue with 1 port that i could not figure out. with the aid of the vacuum and a little diluted dish soap, i was able to trace it to the o-ring. re...

Re: Vacuum pump camera leak detection systems
I’ve been considering the same thing, a leak sensor for an Ikelite housing. The only thing that I’ve been able to come up with is the Leak Sentinel from Vivid Housings (vividhousings.com). The info indicates that a new hole isn’t required. The literature says that unit replaces the “command gland” o...

Found - Dive Computer - Edmonds UWP
Found a very nice, slightly dated, dive computer at the Bruce Higgins Underwater Park. It's been in the water for a while (less than a year, more than a day). Identify it properly & it shall be returned. Give me the type, mounting attachment, approximate location. Heck, if you've got the serial ...

also worth cross shopping at some of the other shops that might have had a sale earlier in the year. at a minimum, some have been known to at least match prices. just saying.

Thank you for your reply. I located a light yesterday and have solved my immediate issue. Sorry for not posting that yesterday. It was a fun (read "nutty busy") weekend and I'm a little slow on correspondence.
Best,
Jim

Great Starter Camera Kit
Great starter setup for someone who wants to try underwater photography without the full cost of a front line set up. Back in the day, this gently used kit was the front line. Still a very reliable and effective set up. - (2) Nikon Coolpix 5000 digital cameras. - One camera has WC-68 wide angle conv...
