Re: Dive shop recommendation please
I am in Sitka and would fly ( air miles) up to anchorage to have the work done while I played with my grandson however I have called all three shops and it is no joy in ANC. One scuba pro shop just picked the line up and won't be tech certified until may and the other shop was willing to take the wo...

Dive shop recommendation please
I am in the unsatisfactory position of having no dive shop open within about a 400 mile radius of home. So I am hoping that you folks can help with a recommendation based on quality of work, price, and customer service. What I need to have done is a new latex neck seal installed in my DUI cf200. I w...

Re: 19 cu. ft. aluminum pony
For me with the same gear set up the answer is none. I normally dive a pound or so heavy that the 1.5 lbs that my pony represents doesn't make that a big enough difference that I notice it I just add a shot of air to the wing to adjust. Others I sure are so dialed in that 1/2 lb one way or the other...

Re: Not that I'm buying a boat yet? Just a question.
I think an additional factor would be Did you ask or recieve any money from anyone on the boat for fuel or other costs ? If you did I postulate that you were not just a group of friends but an unlicensed dive charter which would bring you to a higher standard and more exposed to litigation. Your gen...

Dave glad you were wrong. A lodge's insurance policy does not come out in part of my check book. Was that Thompson if so do you know the boat name. Anywhich way it goes it was a big $$$ error unless they needed to repower , rewire , renew eltronics, and lights etc anyway bummer :-(

Re: XXL Bare drysuit
Hey Dave you would swim in the suit it is way too big for you otherwise I would just give it to you so that it was not just hanging in my dive room. But to answer your question about price I would consider anyone's offer. I removed the inflator valve to install in my new DC suit so that needs to be ...

Thanks everyone for the input. I would really like to hear what about your rig that makes you really like it. I have limited dive buddies up here so I can't really walk to them and say I see you dive a HOG how do you like it and how has the service been on it. But again thanks for taking the time to...
