Re: Scootering EUP

Personally I would fear that a ADA suit would be solved by just saying OK no park diving the place is closed to all divers. That is a heck of a risk.

Re: BCD Inflator

I had that occur and took a dab of silicon grease and put it on the nipple of the inflator and then connected the hose and filed it up. It shoots the grease to all the inside seals and worked great

Jump on Alaska Air and stop in to Sitka we have some great bottle fields you might have to wrestle with SitkaDiver and Diver Dave for the really really good ones but I am sure they would share

Re: Parking at Three Tree North

Just a thought becasue someone asked if it was a city owned no parking sign. Is it possible that the neighbor who's driveway this is protecting put the sign up. In Sitka home owners use wood 4x4s the city use metal posts

Re: Lost Gear Recovered in Lake Washington..

Could it have been dumped there from a partner / spouse that was trying to impress on their family diver that there was too much diving happening?

But probably off a boat that had a unsecured load.

Re: flexible fill hose

Thanks capt Jack I am only pumping air so no o2 cleaning worries What I was confused on is that air hose and the cleaned hydraulic lines are same thing? Pressures are no more than 4000 psi I fill 3450s and if I am gong with a hot fill i might hit 3800 psi to account for cooling however if this is ch...

flexible fill hose

I am looking for a highly flexible hose option to put on my small fill compressor ( max air 35) so that it will be less likely to be damaged in storage on my boat. I was wondering if I can use the a HP scuba hose like the off brand miflex hoses for pressure gauges or if you know a better source. Any...

Re: CO Dect plumbed

I am currently using a Analox EII co dect. I am sorry to say that i don't use it as much as i should meaning i do not check every tank and was hoping that there was something that could be plumb in the line to sample real time that would be more automatic I may be looking for the lazy option that is...

CO Dect plumbed

I was wondering if folks would give me the benefit of their experience. I have a max air 35 portable gas powered compressor and am setting up a new to me max air 90 that I would like to plumb in a CO dect to run real time sampling while the compressor is running. I am currently using a portable unit...

Re: Absurd question for the ladies

I just got back from a cruise and a lot of places you will not be able to wear gloves so that you do not get tempted to grab the reef. I think the masking tape idea would work well.

Re: Newish diver interested in BP/W, looking for sage advise

We're in Woodinville, so it would be an easy trip down to stop by our place and look at what we have. I just wanted to say I love the sense of community you folks have, with Seattle PNW being as large as it is you all seem to work hard to still have the small town community feeling for all divers l...

Re: Hauling Tec Gear

Jeff I bought one of those wagons on the used market and ended up sending it home with my grandchildren because it felt like it would be a little tipsy on rough terrain, and going down hill was a bit awkward due to the yoke on the handle. Now I admit I did not actually put my gear in pull it, how ha...

Re: Epi-Pen in a Wetsuit?

I wonder if EPI PENS have ever been tested at depth pressures? I personally doubt it, and i doubt the manufacture would ever take any position other than don't do it, simply because they have not done the research for their own protection . I think you might want to take any expired epi pens on a te...

Lewiston, Clarkston Greater area

Can any one tell me about dive sites in the Lewiston Clarkston area. Are there any good spots in the rivers. I know its a long way from the ocean but wasn't sure if there were any additional possibilities.
Thanks

Re: MASKS

I am baffled by the notion that frameless masks aren't safe. A low profile, frameless mask with a black skirt is ideal IMHO because for me, the view is better, I agree that they are easier to clear, and I found the visual noise to be distracting through the clear skirt. The HOG mask is super cheap,...

one thing for sure She had quite the bite going on that regulator. Took the bite pads right off. I agree it should not have been a issue for a experienced diver but now days it really could have been a problem with some of the certified divers. I am sure you all would agree with me that no one has t...

Hi there we do not have a shop in town and I have not yet invested in a blender for my compressor so I have never needed a nitrox cert until now. Re: Cheap started point and shoot camera?

The problem with using a Smart phone as your UW camera is what happens if it floods. Replacing your Smart phone might be more painful than buying a couple point and shoot cameras on the used market.
