Greetings Ben!

I'll be doing a Discover Scuba for some lucky group in Prosser soon! (Donated it to the Rotary Club there...)

Perhaps we'll be able to get more coming over to our side of the mountains for the fishies!!

Vendors wanting to be a part... And I always love putting new faces to familiar names on the board. Thanks to every...

Thanks Bassman...looking forward to seeing both you and your daughter!

And, yes, Valerie...would love to connect. I'll be there from set up until 10:30. Then I have to go to my "paying" job. I'll have staffers at the booth all day...but let's try to connect!

Dive for the Cure is a non-profit dedicated to raising monies and awareness of Breast Cancer through the recreational sport of scuba diving. This year we have events i...

Treasure Hunt

An anonymous donor generously covered a spot at the Treasure Hunt, so Dive for the Cure will be there, as well.

This was a last minute suprise...so I'm working quickly to get the stuff together!

Thanks Janna!

That does make teaching EFR more affordable. After going independent...you definitely "feel" all of the costs of instruction when you don't have the dive center to depend on for your peripherals.

In agreement here... I did the "fast track" into my DM program. Thankfully, it took me over a year to complete the DM piece, and during that time I helped with EVERY OW, most AOW and every Rescue classes that came up. So, I came out a good divemaster...but TOTALLY was not ready to enter th...

I'm not qualified to answer your "blending" question...however, I do think that Tacoma Scuba has a "monthly pass" for Nitrox.

EDIT: Tacoma Scuba is not doing the monthly pass thing yet....

Rule #1

So, I wonder if PADI would get upset if I use the REAL RULE #1 in my next OW class???

Sure would cut down on liability issues if all divers just followed that rule, eh?

REI

I'd call REI and ask which store has the backups in stock. They are a princeton light dealer and usually have the backups at one of the stores in the area.

Lights are the same...just the housings are made for underwater...

Neck Seal Replacement

I know that TLSea charges $70 for a replacement...higher than it used to be...but they are a pain to replace...so definitely fair. They'll have it done in a couple days, if necessary, just let them know when you need it. I've always had good luck there and they use a higher quality neck seal. Very g...

I have the Skaana system. They are out of Canada...and TLSea is the only shop in the area (that I know of) that carries them. Two+ years...over 150 dives and no leaks. Nope...not even one. Yes, my hands have been wet a time or two, but those were leaks in my wrist seals... They are a breeze to get o...
