Too early for costs. Still need to get venues, budgets and corporate sponsorships set up.
Right now we're basically looking for PEOPLE to help organize the event. It's way to big for just me.
As more info becomes available, local dive centers and all scuba boards will receive it.

Weeknight Dives
Cera, Thanks for the comment. Starting in March, I want to have one weekend dive per month as well. Maybe make a whole day of diving with an activity as well. This all came about kinda suddenly, and while I'm going to be "coordinating"...I definitely want to go with the input of the women ...

It's a Girl Dive Club
New dive club in the area. This one was created due to requests, mostly from newer female divers wanting to dive more, and find "veteran" female divers to learn from.

Nooo...
Not natural. Nothing natural about it. With the gear weighing almost as much as me...and the whole add air, subtract air...oops...up to the surface again! And what's with the 35 pound weightbelt removal on the surface when there's snow falling and my fingers are frozen. If it wasn't for the fact tha...

Air/Nitrox costs
In the scuba world, your gas fills are always a loss leader. You're not going to pay for a compressor with airfills. What pays the bills is having customers return again and again, as scuba diving is a gear intensive sport that constantly necessitiates newer and cooler stuff. (Ok...so maybe I'm conf...

Caffiene addict
Well, considering that the location of my current home was chosen based STRONGLY on the proximity of the nearest Starbucks (3 within a one block radius!!!)...maybe this study explains my love of diving! And why I prefer to dive in the Sound more than warmer waters.
Hmmm...

Watch overhead at Les Davis on Saturday
Just heard from a fellow diver and sailboat racer that there is a sailboat race in Commencement Bay on Saturday. I'm not a sailor (yet...) but I was told that there is a chance that there could be sailboats without power that may drift into the dive areas on Ruston. So, if you're diving on Ruston th...
