Re: Not diving for a while

You can't be called the "pogi" guy anymore. I guess you'll be back to that status after it gets fixed. :)

Re: What's up with Dive Logs?

Twenty four years later, I still log my dives on paper on a three ring binder. I copied it from a log dive book (I'm not mentioning the brand, but there are many and way too expensive). Like JT said, it's like my diary, and perhaps when I'm gray and old (well I'm already there), my grandkids can jus...

Re: Need your thoughts and ideas

Jeff, If I were you, I would just stick to your original priority and plan when you purchased the beach front property - that is, to make it a nice retirement place. You can correct me if I'm wrong on that. I was born and raised in Cebu City and left the country in the late 80's. Back then, my older...

Erik was a great person. He will surely be missed, especially with the CCR dive community. RiP.

Re: Friday 6/10 and Sunday 6/12

It would have been nice to dive with you again Elise while you're in town, but I got family from California to entertain. They're here for my daughter's graduation from Seattle Pacific University this weekend. Perhaps, next time you come back in the NW.

Dive no. 2, Equipment room = deepest depth at 28 FFW, 9 minutes of dive time. 3. Dive no. 3, Silo. 2 = deepest depth at 105 FFW, 34 minutes of dive time. This was thre...

Re: Titan Miss Silo Dive

You could dive doubles if your buddy dives dubs too. After about 30 minutes, the dive becomes boring, at least for me, and all you do is go in circles or etch your name on the beams or wall (if you really have the urge). Also, the DM accompanying the dive, who is mostly sitting on one of the beams (...

Ken (Mac), you're diving with Bobby Berenson tomorrow. He dives at the Seattle aquarium regularly. He should be able to give you all the info.

Call Sadira at Underwater Sports in Edmonds. She is an instructor and is comparable to your size, perhaps even smaller. Where she gets her wetsuits, semi-drysuits, and drysuits, I don't know. Give her a call.

I just read about this Koos as I'm taking my lunch break at work. I'm glad you're okay. What you said is true, there are so many things to do outside of the diving world. Twenty years from now, you'll be looking back at this decision knowing you made the right choice. Especially, perhaps, holding yo...

Re: Club Dive! Club Dive! Club Dive! Feb. 20th, 2016 @ EUP!

I'm glad I decided to join the club dive today. I wasn't feeling good, but I decided, what the heck! Not to mention, I felt bad just living 5 minutes away from EUP. I had a blast with everybody. It was great to be the tour guide, guiding Chris' (Apostle228), and Matt's (Mattlezeay) first tour to the...

Re: Wavy shore dive exits

Ah! The Monastery crawl. I've only dove that beach once and it kicked my ass. The monastery crawl revisited me when Jeremy Freestone, Don Winslow, and I dove the South Beach in San Juan Island two years ago. We made it wading through the waves, and decided to go down right away, only to find myself ...

Memories - Memories - Memories! All very sweet. Indeed, I will miss it too. It will be up to the people who once dove it to share their memories via stories, videos and stills to divers who never dove it. To me, the memory that sticks the most are the countless crab dives I did in that place, not to...
