Re: HOG regulators
I got a set and so far like them I had, still have, my Aqualung but at 100' they were too hard to breathe. I got the Hog in an attempt to get rid of this issue but so fat I fing them even easier to breathe in shallower water too. If you have an AL reg that's hard to breathe at 100' you need to have...

Re: HOG regulators
Lets hear about the Special addition Murdered out regulator... What's special about it? Just no turret and cheaper? HOG-D2-Black-Din-600.jpg Murdered???ROFLMAO It's simple, I have their weird belief that when people are lining up at 1am the night before Black Friday to buy flat screen TV's and chea...

Re: HOG regulators
Seriously over the last 16 years full time in the dive industry I've seen quite a few wings(all brands) get pinched between the backplate and a hard place. It cuts the wing. Sure you can call it divers fault or quite often it's design fault. My double wings have a nylon inner and the space for the b...

Re: HOG regulators
I have 3 more wings, all donut in development and a side mount system. Late early or early mid summer availability. any previews available of the sidemount system? how much lift does it have? ~50-55lbs lift and nope :neener: seriously, as soon as I am happy with the system I'll be shouting from the...

Re: HOG regulators
my wings are also a nylon inner bladder, that said they can still get cut by the plate with enough force. Did not know that!! very good news!! and as some other people, I might just have to look at HOG very soon!! I have 3 more wings, all donut in development and a side mount system. Late early or ...

Re: HOG regulators
Would be interesting to have seen the "tear" in the wing.. Kees, I'd honestly be suspect if that wing tore on the seam, but I can not see that a wing will spontaneously "tear" through and through on both sides of the wing in the exact location.. it sounds like a pinch of some so...

Re: HOG regulators
OK after following this thread I have a question Where does a person in Alaska get information on / buy HOG stuff? ask you local dealer if they would like to carry it, I don't require them to buy a ton of gear to be a dealer or play the usual games. If that isn't possible just call any of my dealer...

Re: HOG regulators

Re: HOG regulators
ah...that happens with all brands. Some manufs use all urethane bladders and they REALLY are susceptible to that problem.

Re: HOG regulators
Folks, if there is a problem with EDGE or HOG gear I want nothing more than to hear about it. As quickly as possible. Make no mistake, sometimes there is a systemic issue (my b/up lights and the springs on my OPV that lead to a CPSC recall come to mind) that absolutely is an issue, those things will...

Re: HOG regulators
Actually there are a few posts/folks other than Ag47 who have an obvious bias, but won't disclose what the actual issue or even the actual HOG item they had an issue with. Treat those opinions with caution, there are purported experts everywhere. I can testify to having assisted in diagnosing a maj...

Re: HOG regulators
I never threatened to sue NW Dive club. In fact I wanted you to have a heads up from me, not my attorney when you get a subpoena for your logs and user information on Agent 47. That's what I meant when I said you would be involved in some litigation...not that you would be on the receiving end of th...

Re: HOG regulators
I have spoken with "agent 47" and he has told me that his account here was hijacked, "most likely by the mods here because they have all his information". He EMPHATICALLY denies that he posted in this thread. Another thing to leave to the people with a J.D. behind their name. Hi...

Wow..interesting thread. I'm Chris Richardson, the "HEAD HOG" :supz: Couple points for your consideration. I have NEVER had any complaints regarding quality of Chrome from any dealer or consumer. The chrome we use is unique. It is a Trivalent chrome, which is MUCH more environmentally frie...
