Dive X Sierra Scooter $1000

Want it to go to a good home. Got it and dont use it much. New charger last year. Was fully serviced by Dive x a few years ago with like 4-5 dive on it since then. $1000. Pick up in Bellingham or we could work something out but not sure I want to ship it.

Muk last night, 6/13 was actually not bad, really yucky layer but only down to 20' or so. After that it opened up to 30ish.

Keystone Sunday 11/15 nice slack and a good 20ft viz not bad with all the rain. I it was still a bit stirred up by the wind waves and so it might improve.

Re: What To Do Now? Olympus Housing Died

Yeah, the particular knob did not have a c clip or screw so I could not figure out how to get it out. I ended up using marine under the water line epoxy to seal up the knob as is. The only bummer is that the knob was how you switch from regular to macro mode so now I will have to choose one or the o...

What To Do Now? Olympus Housing Died

I have been using an Olympus TG-1 and the Olympus House Brand housing for a few years. The housing failed on my last dive, the rotating knob stripped out and now leaks. The camera is fine but Olympus says the housing is discontinued. Is there some special place where old housings hide on the interne...

Kauai Diving Recommendations?

I am going to Kauai in July with wife and kids, my wife has authorized some diving time. I looked online but can anyone recommend any particular dives, shops or charters?

Sweet shots Nolan. Did you use a tripod for the topside shots or do you just have really good balance?!

Frist Project with New MacBook Pro

I cobbled together some video I had with my new MacBook. Imovie is way easier to use for basic editing than anything I used on my PC. I shoot with an Olympus TG-1 which is great except for the autofocus hunting in low light that you can see in a few spots. Apparently, there is nothing you can do oth...

Re: The Calm Under the Storm (Video), San Juans

Awesome shots Nolan. Your video makes the viz look better than I remember! I thought the narration was a nice touch as well. It would have been nice to get shots from the deck on the way back in but no way were they letting us out there.

Nanaimo 12/9

Did a great trip back to Nanaimo with Ron Akeson and Adventures Down Under in Bellingham on Sunday. Since my GoPro imploded on my last trip I was glad to have the chance to snap a few pics this time with my new camera. The viz was solid as usual up there. We got to hit both the Breton and the Saskat...

Re: Dove my ass off!

Really spectacular photos. I have some recent experience as Diver Dad. I have two little ones now that I have to balance my dive schedule around. Though I always wish I dove more I think if you work at it and don't mind diving sleep deprived you can make it work. I negotiated a trade of one day for ...

Re: Craigslist deals

I got mine for 1900$ on Dive Matrix. Its funny I contacted that guy via email and told him I would give him 2k for his because I could go look at it (vs the one I was looking at on the interwebs). He totally blew me off, that was like 2 months ago and his price is down to 2100$.
