Re: Totally Awesome Dive at Les Davis, Dudes!

I'm sure that I have dove with him in the past, or at least his twin brother, Randy. This has to be the best post I have seen on this site yet. I mostly lurk, but I had to respond to this. The title says it all, "TOTALLY AWESOME".

Re: New to Forum - Lost gear at Titlow

You should check with Amy ("pinkpadigal" on this board) at A-2-Z Scuba in Puyallup. On Aug. 24th she posted that she had found a weight bag at Titlow and had it at her shop. Her original post is on page 2 of the Gear Central Forum. Hope it is yours and you get it back. Buy the way, Welcome...

meetbrownie, sorry I didn't get back earlier. We are still looking to be there around 2 pm, maybe a little later. Got to go visit my dad in the hospital first, then going to 3 Tree. Sorry I can't be more specific on exact time.

Re: saturday dive south end

Brownie, my wife and I are also planning on 3TN Saturday, but in the early afternoon (1 to 2ish). If nothing else works out for you, look for a 1 ton dually Chev P/U, you could tag along with us. Pez, what time are you going to be there? Would like to meet the man behind some hilarious posts!

Re: Thank you from Porthole

GREAT NEWS!!! My wife, son, and I are all already signed up for 2 days out of Neah Bay on your boat in September, when Club TLSEA has you booked. I was really bummed to hear about your problems, and was hoping they would be resolved before our mini-vacation dive trip. We are taking our 5'th wheel an...

Re: Redondo on Saturday

The vis was OUTSTANDING! Even in the areas we were doing the clean-up (mostlly around the fishing pier), the vis cleared relatively quickly. At the start of the second dive, it was like we hadn't been there. I'm sure that Chip and I did muck up the water dragging the BMX bike back up the slope to th...

Me too! :supz: Cool, it will be nice to meet and dive with you. I have "met" (meaning I recognize from postings or photos) a bunch of the dive club members at various dive sites or charters, but have actually dove with very few as actual buddies. Part of this is having a wife and son as b...

Thanks for the response- how does meeting at 3 Tree North at 0900 hrs sound? I am flexible with time/location, but the tides look pretty good in the morning, and I would like to do some more exploring around 3 Tree. Let me know if this works. Anyone else out there interested?

South End Dive Tuesday 2/19?

Anyone up for a couple of dives Tuesday 2/19? I usually have Fri/Sat/Sun off, but was switched to some weekdays off for a couple more weeks, so can't dive with my regular buddies (wife and son). I am hoping to find some like minded people who would like to do a couple of south end (Three Tree, Redon...

Sorry to hear about this. I am always worried when going to the more secluded dive sites that something like this might happen. Did you see them on the beach? There is also a public trail that starts near the pump station (I think it is called the Indian Trail) that people hike.

Close, but it is- "gouges". Still, your spelling is probably better than mine (I used my pocket dictionary)

The other option is to just double up. My wife dives with her DUI fleece one piece under her drysuit in the warmer monthes, then adds poly-pro long underwear during the colder monthes. An added layer makes all the difference.

I am diving a DUI CLX450, basically a shell suit without any inherent insulating properties. With a 7 mil drysuit, even the lightest Weezle might be to warm for you. Back in the day (early 80's) I dove a Posiedon Unisuit, which was a full neoprene (7mm?) drysuit. We didn't have purpose built underga...

Weezle is the BOMB! :violent2: Haven't been chilled since I got it, but then, I was never able to do 93 minutes in a wet suit before, so it might be too much garment for you. I loves my Weezle!
