Re: Sea Stars are Back!!!!
Fukushima has nothing to do with this topic. It’s not just starfish melting into blobs of goo...I was scootering Day island Wall the other day and out of the corner of my eye just caught a glimpse of what appeared to be a two headed wolf eel in its lair. Didn’t seem natural...like there was some ra...

It's been 8 years since the Fukushima radiation plume smashed into the west coast of North America. Makes sense that the sea stars would start coming back now that the radiation levels are decreasing.

Re: Lake Washington Wreck Dives
Windermere Park in Wolf Bay is gated & private so there's no shore access. I know one of the homeowners there so I theoretically <could> get the gate opened, but its easier to just use a boat. I wasn't sure how for "just south" of the boat ramp was, as there is shore access at the par...

Re: Duncan rock
I dove it twice last summer although not with elite divers in every way. It was luck of the draw...the weather and currents happened to be perfect and it was an easy epic dive.taylortex wrote:Please assume that my boat and crew are elite diver status in every way. Thanks!

What hood do you like in our waters and why? Are there brands you think are better than others? Or is it just a matter of finding one that fits your noggin?!? -For cold cold water, Sea Otter comes up over and over (I believe they come in 12mm?) -I have a big melon, and Whites was the most comfortab...

Lake Washington is decent...probably 10-15 ft.
Around 47 degrees at depth, warming up to 54 degrees in the top 10-20 ft...great for deco stops.
This is the time of year I switch to lake diving for a couple of months.
