Aquatica A7D, Canon 7D, Sea&Sea Strobes For Sale

Hi Guys! Well, I've decided that taking photos isn't for me - just don't have the aptitude or patiences for it I guess. No matter, my loss is your gain! I'm selling my Aquatica A7D housing, Canon 7D, 2 Sea&Sea Strobes, Arms, Cables, Batteries, and a sweet Pelican rolling case that will carry it ...

Re: Dry Gloves new Source?

Size 11 and 10.5 both work with my Viking rings. I wear 11's in the colder months when I wear thicker gloves and 10.5's in the warmer months when I wear thinner gloves. 10.5 is a better fit for me but they are harder to put on. Mike Thanks Mike, I could use a thicker glove in the winter too - I'll ...

Re: Dry Gloves new Source?

Sure I have a pair of 11's you can try out. I see that you are in Woodinville maybe we can meet somewhere on Hwy 9 or I can just mail them to you let me know what works. Are you using the 11's over Viking rings? I was told that the glove cuff on the 11's would be too big for the rings and that I'd ...

Re: Some thoughts

Great post Josh! I used to think that I was a good diver then I started diving with great divers and realized just how much I had to learn. This had two effects on me, 1) I took more training and 2) I did a lot more diving. I suspect that many of us are constantly pushing our personal limits in orde...

Re: Rebreather Divers Wanted..

Interesting survey. Asked some fairly technical data about scrubber performance that I had to look up. I suspect that all of us know the scrubber duration but not necessarily the millibar of PPO2 at rated duration and depth.

Re: FS: Liquivision Xen bottom timer

Xen is sold. I just want to say that I got my XEN :partydance: It actually got here on wednesday but it took me a couple of days to go to the post office and sign for it. Spatman sent it the morning after I sent him my payment, packed it in the original manufacture's box, and put that in a second (...

Recreational Rebreather

Soon enough someone will make an loose sorb canister for it. That will bring the price per dive down a lot.

Is this still for sale? Is it $150 for both the 1st and 2nd stage? If so, I'll take it.

Re: drysuit, and BCD for buoyancy?

With my back, I can safely say doubles will never happen. With a Steel 95, and 42pds of weight, thats pushing my back as is. I've got a bad back too and the doubles can get really heavy even before you add on stage bottles. So I pretty much skipped the doubles route and went straight to a rebreathe...

Re: What cylinder do you dive, and why?

I found that for any recreational dive in the 100’ or less range that a HP 100 was more than enough gas to do a 45min +/- no-deco dive. If I wanted to get in to the 100’-130’ range than I used the HP 119. Your no-deco time is going to chase you out of that depth long before you use the gas in your H...

Re: Dry Suit Pee Valve Condoms - Where to buy?

I swear by (and at) the WideBand catheters. They can be a bit tough to take off, especially if you are using them multiple days in a row, but I've never had a leak in my drysuit either. Also, a friend of mine says that Rochester makes some kind of wipe that will help in taking them off if you can't ...

Re: WTB Aluminum pony

Are you still looking for one? I have a Catalina S19 and a Quick Draw Pony Bracket if your friend needs one of those too. Both are in great shape and have little use. I've gone to a rebreather now so I don't need it anymore. I'd sell the cylinder for $80 and the bracket for $100 or make me an offer....
