Re: What do YOU use for Thermals?

I used to wear sweet pants and a sleevless T with a fleece vest in a neoprene drysuit. It was too small to fit anything with sleeves; I thought i was still a medium.

Re: Hose Protectors

us divers never put them on until they made their own with internal ribbs and vents to allow drainage. scuba pro(?) claims that if you remove them, the exposed hose fittings will help with heat transfer to keep the first stage from freezing up and free flowing mine are removed from my cold water regs.

Newport is good for spearfishing
Florence and Waldport and Reedsport are good for crabs.
Newport is also good for photography.
open ocean out of Coos Bay is good for spearfishing and photography...on a spearfishing boat [-X

Re: 4 dives in Seattle

I do know that Seattle dive sites can be tide/current sensitive. Purpose of day trip is # 500 logged dives for my buddy, so it would 'have' to be in two weeks; but who has money to drive 10hrs for two dives. Lunch at Ivars Fish Bar is a requirement for the non-diver comming with us.(fish-n-chips) I ...

4 dives in Seattle

Thinking about a one day trip to scuba Seattle. I want to hear suggestions for two morning dives; lunch at Ivars Fish Bar and refill the tanks; then two afternoon dives.

Where can we get in four dives and some clean air. They have to be shore dives and we'll be bringing cameras.

thank you

Re: On spearfishing....

the above resembles my sig line I spearfish to take food home. I have never seen anyone spear and leave. The people I have met spear for food, not juvinile antics. I do know a lake where the fish and game want a species taken without limits with any means possible (an introduced undesireable species)

I did 30-40 in the first half of the year, I was hoping to break 300 total; but I met the love of my life and have been dealing with life and making enough money for last summers gas prices.

I paper log all my dives
