When I was in okinawa we used to see these guys riding shotgun on top of cowrie shells sometimes. It took me a full year to realize that "sea cabbies" were, infact, Nudi's!

Well I went ahead and bought it. I'm turning it in for a ($ 50) service. But it ought to be the last one I pay for as I ought to be tech certified by the time service is due again. So far as I've seen service kits are <$ 20. Thank you all for your advice though! It was very helpful!

Where were you stationed in oki? That's where almost all of my dives are! Ahh how I miss the toilet bowl! Crazy as it sounds that was hands down the best dive site I've ever been to! Hedo was a close second but being on the point, conditions went from 0-60 in a matter of minutes :(
