I just use the lined smurf gloves with a thermasilk glove liner for added protection. Worked for me in multi hour dives

Re: Moving to Washington

I would take Tacoma, its overall cheaper. You are about midway between Hood Canal and Seattle area diving, plus have Ruston Way right there.

Re: Lake Washington Dive Sites

nothing except boat traffic. I kinda hate boat diving lake during boating season, cuz its all torn up. Winter time is suweet and smooth.

You do have to watch wind. With a longer fetch, can get easily kicked up.

Re: Sixgill sightings - Reports wanted

Over the past 8 years, Jeff and I have seen 6/7 six gills. All 6 of mine have been in Hood Canal. One was an adult, rest were juveniles. Jeff Gerritsen saw an additional one in redondo on another dive. Last one I saw was in 2017 (September)

Re: Technical diver relocating to Anacortes / Bellingham WA area

There are really only 2 shops that truly cater to Tec.

8 if you are a DIR diver.
Tacoma Scuba (My personal preference)

Others may kinda sorta have some tec bent to them.
