Re: Travel Insurance

I thought I'd used DAN, but theres fine print about depth limitations, not a concern for your diving, but I'd went elsewhere.

But for your diving should be fine. WE used H2O insurance for our gear

yup, steramine works great, although for 8+ years all I did was rinse my loop with fresh water, and hang to dry.

Re: Ruston Way Walls

I've dove that whole wall system so many times from LSW > Kirbys wall and back, and never seen a 6 gill there. Seen 6 6 gills in Hood Canal, and 2 at Three Tree, but never there

Re: Classes for CCR???

You'll want to look at what local divers dive. Ask questions. A local network is invaluable. Megs Revos those GUE things a few JJ's Megs are made down in Chehalis, so are easily serviced locally. I had around 100 dives before I moved to CCR. You likely wont need to travel to get trained, Mel teaches...

I just use the lined smurf gloves with a thermasilk glove liner for added protection. Worked for me in multi hour dives

I would take Tacoma, its overall cheaper. You are about midway between Hood Canal and Seattle area diving, plus have Ruston Way right there.
