Yes they are, at $90 for a $2 cable.
So no one has one I could test drive before I commit $100?

NEEDED: Oceanic Pro Plus 3 USB Cable
Howdy y'all,
I've got the Pro Plus 3 and am looking to either purchase or maybe even just meet up and use the data cable to download my dives from Micronesia. If I can find one that someone isn't using for cheaper or try it out to see if the software is really worth spending the money.

Re: WTB: Scuba Console/Computer
Just got back from a trip out of town. Do either of you have links to the consoles you have available so I can see what I'm getting? How much for the Oceanics?

WTB: Scuba Console/Computer
I've got all my gear together and the last thing I need is either a computer or just an old fashioned set of gauges. Does anyone have their old gauges gathering dust?

Re: Balanced Octo
I didn't realize I would start such a debate :) Anyway, thanks for the advice I found a killer deal on a brand new Mares Proton Ice Extreme Octopus at ScubaToys.com. They've got them on clearance from $429 marked down to $124.95. Very good deal and I figured if my primary is cold water ready, my sec...

Balanced Octo
Just finishing up my setup and I have a quick question... I'm running a Scubapro MK25/A700 black tech balanced primary and secondary and am looking at octos to add to the rig. Should I be concerned with getting a balanced octo like the Hollis 321 or is it not that big of a deal. I'm not planning col...

Re: Zeagle 911 BCD - Any good?
I spoke with the gentleman on duty at a dive shop in Lynnwood and he said to avoid Zeagle because they're going to go out of business soon, at least that's the rumor, and I wouldn't be able to buy parts, then tried to steer me to the vests they had... Knowledgable sales pitch or lies lies lies? And ...

Re: New divers, What gear are you looking for? - NHZ PLEASE!
Well, I'm looking for a BCD (Mens medium/large), weight belt, regs, octo, tank (80 Al or preferably Steel 100), dive computer, and possibly a 7mm wetsuit (Mens Large). I know that I'm not looking to spend much on the wetsuit, as I'll only be using it short term until I get drysuit training. I just ...

Zeagle 911 BCD - Any good?
I'm going to go look at a Zeagle 911 BCD that someone has for sale, just wondering what the concensus is on how good it is. Supposedly it's brand new but it's been sitting for a few years. Should I be worried about the air bladder being weakened from lack of usage for such a long period of time? I'm...
