Re: Another sixgill sighting
I just compared another video, from August 1st: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0a2TZc- ... e=youtu.be
I'm pretty sure all three photos/videos depict 3 different sharks!

Re: Another sixgill sighting
The one in BillZ's video is definitely different than the one I saw. Tail in tact and has that gash along the pectoral fin. Certainly more curious. Great observation-- although you sent a chill down my spine. BillZ and I were doing some pretty fast helicopter turns, in effort to keep one shark in f...

Ambient light at 200' and 120 year old wrecks better preserved than a lot of the wrecks in Lake Washington. Thanks for sharing.

Bob is great, however I'm not sure Bob is teaching anymore. He'll probably chime in.
I believe Peter has hung up his teaching hat as well.

Hey John,
Talk to Brian and Jeanna, at frogkickdiving.com. I know you guys have done a lot of training with Bob. Having taken classes from both, I have found their teaching styles and philosophies complementary. Small warning... helium is addictive...

Re: Backup light issues
+1 Just untwist it a bit more. It's the pressure at depth that turns it on.
I have had this issue with this specific light and other twist on lights. Certainly nothing uncommon and nothing an attentive buddy can't fix for you

Lost light in Cove 2
A buddy of mine lost her light swimming from shore to the boundary line this evening. It's a black DRIS 1000 lumen light with a wrist lanyard. Please PM if you find it.
Thanks,

Brian(Bdub) and Jeanna(Edge) have a DPV class in February. I'd recommend them -- I'm signed up for the class myself Their website says they still have a spot open. http://frogkickdiving.com/dpv-1.html

Re: Where do i go for classes and certification
Great question! I wish I would have found the board and asked the same question before getting certified. I'm a fairly new diver and have dove quite a bit with Peter(Lynn-LCF's husband, http://www.belowandbeyond.biz/), taken classes with Bob Bailey-Grateful Diver (http://www.nwgratefuldiver.com/) an...

Lynne,
I need to work on my mid-water skills and definitely qualify as not perfect. I'd love to do some direct ascents with stops where we task load with SMBs, navigation and other skills.

Rich, I had this same problem yesterday; the card had fallen off the pin. I hadn't dropped it or banged it around since my last use, so I was confused. I through maybe it was a result of soaking my gear in hot water after dives, so I was going to try to put it back in hot water and shake it around a...
