I am pleased to announce that the January 2015 edition of Pacific Northwest Diver magazine is online and ready for viewing. Lots of stories and some reader interaction added to the magazine. FS: Underwater Camera System (SonyNEX5N/Aquatica housing)
I purchased a new camera and housing. Therefore, my old one must go. It has served me well for the last two years taking photos mainly in local waters. I’ve never had a leak! Since I do mostly shore diving, there are nicks and scratches on the housing, but everything is functional. In my paranoia of...

Re: Viz Reports Thread
I would like to take my newly drysuit certified friend diving on Monday, May 19th. I'm from BC and I only know Edmonds and Keystone dive sites in Washington. (Whytecliff is my 'go to' sight up here) My friend is very experienced but just not in cold water. Any suggestions where we could go in the Se...

Nauticam vs Aquatica NEX 5N?
I've just purchased my Sony NEX 5N and I'm loving it for topside. As I look around at different brands of housing, each company has features that are appealing. For example, 10Bar has focus and zoom controls on their port for the 18-55 but as a cold water diver I'm concerned with the tiny button con...

Re: Are There Canadians Still Here?
Yup....I'm an ex-pat living in Abbotsford. Love diving Keystone/Edmonds occasionally, but Whytecliff and Porteau tend to be where I dive most often. Vis has been disgusting lately, but yesterday it opened up nicely at Whytecliff and Copper Cove. What a treat not do braille diving. If you are plannin...

Oh my goodness. This is awesome! I haven't checked back lately, thus the late response. Divers are great people, aren't they?? I've PM the finder and hopefully we'll figure out a way to connect. Thanks everyone for looking!

Hello From Abbotsford
Just want to pop in to say hello. I've been diving for just over one year and am having a blast with just over 120 dives in that time. I do most of my diving at Whytecliff and Porteau in Vancouver but love coming down to Keystone and Edmonds when I can. I've dove in Maui and what a treat that is wit...

Lost Hollis Bat Fin at Edmonds
I got caught trying to get out of the water at Edmonds Underwater Park in a squall that caused an impressive surf conditions. Unfortunately, as I tumbled about in the waves, one fin came off and there was no way to find it as these fins are negatively buoyant. If you find it, please PM me and we can...
