Re: Saturday afternoon dive @ Harper's Ferry

hahaha. I'm glad we had good vis for the first dive @ least. I don't think I've seen too much more current than we caught today and I would dare say that the vis (although good) was worse today than I've seen before. Never known that site to be current sensitive however it does have a pretty big exc...

Re: Saturday afternoon dive @ Harper's Ferry

. Yes, very much so. I would love a tech class buddy. Its not the sort of thing I want to learn solo. I plan on getting certified through NAUI though. Not sure if you've given thought to your organization of choice or not. And to start classes with them, I still need a few more EANx dives below 60 f...

Re: Saturday afternoon dive @ Harper's Ferry

Had an awesome time getting to meet and dive with everyone. Saw a pretty tame rat-fish (hopefully pics are to come) amongst some other pretty cool things. Despite my dry-glove leaking and partially flooding my suit, that was one of the funnest dives to date. Link any pictures you guys post! I hope o...

I'll take a pic of my comp just for you when we hit our max depth Sounds good, Jim. you will have good time from a photog's POV =) I...

It's the seal of Rassilon that's making you such a nice person. Now you have no excuse, Mortuus! :neener: I think I could possibly make this dive today. I only have 1 tank though (LP 77). Do the people going have enough extras to go around, or should I go rent a 2nd one? Got an HP100 (yoke) you can ...

oh, you don't have anything to worry about. not much more than waist height I dont think. there is a progression of rocks you can step down if you arent comfortable jumping down a couple of feet (I jump down fully suited, its really not that high) no, it's not. I will stand on the bottom and have yo...

no, it's not. I will stand on the bottom and have you guys pass me down your rigs and help don them on the beach. perks of being 6'8 and 220 pounds is the ability to heft heavy gear around =P

Re: Saturday afternoon dive @ Harper's Ferry

hahaha. If there is only gonna be three or four of us, there will be more than enough parking. there is a ledge leading down to the water, so what I usually do is stand down there and have people hand me BC's and tanks so we do finally assembly on the beach which makes everything easier. I will prob...
