welcome! I am sure Laura will be chiming in soon about dry/wetsuit advice =P Myself and Dylan (Mortuus) are both getting into free-diving as a side sport to scuba. That's friggin' awesome. My cousin is a deacon, he also free-dives. bahahaha. oh, that's so wrong.. I wonder if there are any members of the clergy smart enough to truly appreciate the better part of the world that was "given" to us.. I feel it should be prefaced to new divers that "s...

Re: What's your favorite time waster game?

I did the same with doodle-jump. I would spend hours trying to beat my high score (83268) and fail miserably.. then I would see the global high scores of ~3 million and feel a lot better about my lack of a social life.. it took me TWO YEARS to get the high score I did. Somewhere, nestled in the slum...

I saw that same nudi yesterday. wish I had something other than my GoPro on me at the time. Nice shots! My dive buddy was a no show this morning but luckily blackwater ( Bric) was just finishing up a dive as I got there. We went out to the bottle field and over to an area where Bric had seen a juven...

Re: Heads up for the easily saddened

='( I suspect mortality for seals is pretty high. I find their bodies frequently around Possession Sound. Back when we could dive Edgewater Park at Mukilteo a young seal would follow me on my dives. Its behavior reminded me of my dog. It would even lie on its back on the bottom and let me rub its be...

Les Davis is awesome for getting your toes wet (I still say we need a rim-shot smiley) and one of my favorite sites when tides are a bit iffy elsewhere. Titlow is also a fun site if the currents permit and never gets more than about 30fsw. Another site that I am surprised nobody has mentioned is Edm...

Nah, not really. I've dove seabeck a couple of times, but the closest thing that's actually worth going to is Harper's ferry.

Could use linux :partydance: I was thinking of discarding it from being a dive computer, and getting it to run Quake 3 with a timer for my deco stops. D
