lumbar, left. thoracic, right. if it were a cervical vertebrae be it the Atlas(C1) or the Axis(C2) it would be much more Y/triangular shaped definitely thoracic. let's say for funsies that your vertebrae is T12 (the widest and tallest of the thoracic vertebrae) in a human it spans about 3.5-4 inches...

no, the transverse processes of both human and deer are much thicker than the one you found.. can you take a picture from the side of it so I can see the profile of the spineous process?

... the massage therapist in me is thinking that it certainly looks similar to a human thoracic vertebrae, the smartass in me is saying a big friggin chicken. possibly a deer if it was shallow? Osteology is certainly not my field of expertise either, however I have palpated, owned, aligned and drawn...

you already spent at least $250 on the unit itself.. you can either leave it in a drawer or have a $300 "barbie" camera that shoots "HD" video. IMHO, it's better than it sitting in a drawer. I like mine and the housing (havent dove with new housing yet) only cost me $49.99. just ...
