DUI 11mm hood. Used but has tons of life left. It's very warm, and it's also too big for me – I bought a small and am selling this one. I have trimmed the face area slightly, as you can see in the photos.
Asking just $20.
I live in West Seattle.

Public Meeting Announcement: Saltwater State Park project
I wanted to let everyone know about a public meeting coming up about the proposed shoreline and creek restoration project at Saltwater State Park. It has the potential to affect scuba diving in a few ways, including scuba-related park amenities, potential re-use of boulders for underwater structure,...

Down to my last two 2016 cephalopod calendars
I made these pretty awesome 2016 calendars featuring GPOs, stubby squids, opalescent squids, and red octos. I only have 2 left. They are $20 each, plus $3 if you need me to mail them.

Re: Viz Reports Thread
Went to Sund Rock yesterday, 10-17, and it was very bad at the surface to about 35 fsw. Below 35', it opened up to a quite decent 15 fsw viz (defined as the ability to see how many fingers someone is holding up 15 feet away).

Re: Viz Reports Thread
Has anyone splashed at Sund Rock in the past couple days? I heard last weekend was bad. Wondering if a trip is worth it with viz so spectacular around Seattle.

Ken was a genuinely kind soul and generous of spirit. He was happy to share his knowledge, and eager to learn from the experience of others. He was a really good guy, and this is a really big loss.

Careful, Richard, I know where you sit.
It's a new computer... they actually still make computers. And I haven't found one I like better.

Re: the EAN screen disappeared from my Cochran EMC-16 - how do I get it back?
I've been diving Cochran for 18 years...
Anyway, the answer was simple -- I finally got it figured out, thanks to Tony at Cochran. It was the PO2 / FO2 toggle. I obviously accidentally changed it, and that was the problem. The first screen should say FO2 to be able to set the Ean.

As I scroll through the screen functions, it goes directly from Con to dEC. What happened to EAn? What did I do that I need to undo to access this function? Does anyone have a Cochran and can tell me?

Re: Parking at Three Tree North
Thanks for all the input... esp. the no parking sign photo and map. In terms of whether the sign is private or city-installed -- I have an anecdote that might be relevant. Once many years ago I spray painted the 3 feet on either side of a driveway in a neighborhood on Capitol Hill in Seattle. I did ...

Pony Tamer -- pony bottle attachment set for two tanks
Used. This kit will set you up to attach one pony to two cylinders. The black and white photo shows you how it's supposed to look. The other photo is of the pony tamer set for sale. There are two different types -- this is the type with three bands for each tank so they are very secure against each ...

Parking at Three Tree North
I have been to Three Tree super early the past three days, and both yesterday and today different people (fishermen) have mentioned that apparently a police officer had told some people that if they didn't parallel park there, that he would issue tickets. Has anyone else heard this? First, the idea ...

My Underwater Photography at Alki Arts Fair
I've got local underwater photos and art at tent #53 at Alki Arts Fair this weekend! Saturday and Sunday, 10-6. Here's the thing. I know that a lot of divers take their own photos and are not so interested in other people's. But I also have made greeting cards -- really beautiful ones. What is cool ...

Question about Saltwater SP - low tide and eelgrass
Can anyone tell me if eelgrass is exposed at low tide at Saltwater State Park? I know we trek across a lot of shells and rocks and barnacles at low tide to reach the water, but does the eelgrass remain submerged?
Thanks for any feedback.
