How cool is that?!

Great job with the photos, they're all lovely! It's so hard to get tiny moving things in focus.

I have three. They are currently full of 32%, but out of vip and hydro. No reason why they wouldn't pass.

What a sad yet fascinating sight!

Every few years a live one will be spotted at Redondo in the summer. Lost? Or on an adventure?

Re: Jellyfish Stings and Weirdness

And another damn thing... this is weird... I've been getting what I call 'referred pain' all over, not just in the stung area. Every part of my body has these transient sting sensations that go away when I touch the area. Have you ever heard of that? It's a new one on me, so to speak, and really an...

Re: Cabo Diving

Manta Scuba Diving

The diving in Cabo is not the greatest, but it's not bad. If you don't minding driving a few hours and can go north, Cabo Pulmo is better IMO. And it looks like Manta will take you there, so you wouldn't necessarily have to drive yourself.

Re: Local Shark Questions

Welcome! Yelloweye is right, sixgills are usually deeper, although Bob and Lynne saw one at about 40' at the jackstraw pilings at Cove 2. That was a lucky dive! Summer is the best time to find them, if you find them. Cove 2 and Redondo are both easy sites that are accessible to all, and you might ge...

Re: New in town. Looking to dive...a lot.

Welcome to the board, and to the PNW! We have weekly dives around the sound - keep your eye on the dive planning forum to what's up and where. Feel free to post there yourself as well!

Do you have a drysuit? It sure makes local diving a lot better.

Happy diving!

Go south to avoid major donkey balls, go north to encounter unicorns that fart glitter!

But for realz it's gonna be nasty for the next several days. 3"-7" of rain predicted. :(

Re: ThThTh 12/19

A flood watch has been issued due to unusually heavy rainfall - the storm drain outfall near the stairs is going to suck major donkey balls. Be safe!
