Re: Woman drives car into water at Redondo Beach
Sounds pretty strange to me. I don't know anywhere you can be that far out and that shallow. GD's idea sounds about right though. Certainly couldn't have been anywhere near the launch ramp. 15 min underwater sounds pretty touch and go for sure.

Underwater??? Maybe. The Doctor says there is no reason I can't after I have fully recovered and the prospect is thrilling but financially???? I sold my brand new USIAA drysuit and my backplate and wing to prevent my back sliding so that is a major obstacle to getting back in the water. Having spent...

Well I made it to the other side and I got home yesterday afternoon. Certainly not my favorite experience but I'm looking at it in the rearview mirror now and at least for now all seems to be following the script. Hope to see all of you sometime in the not to distant future.

Thanks guys and girls. Nice to hear from all the people I've missed so dearly and thanks for the good wishes. It's scary for sure but I'm really looking forward to it. My surgeon is the best and he says there is a very low risk factor because there is very little wrong other than the valve and there...

Just a heads up for those that still remember me! As most of you know I had to quit diving a year or two back but most don't know why. I have a defective heart valve that was starving my body of oxygen and it got to the point that I no longer felt it was safe to dive. Well it finally has gotten to t...

Like new USIA dry suit
Great deal on an almost new Usia front zip dry suit and undergarment. Only dove 5 times then I had to quit diving. This is a $2000 custom suit I'll sell for $800. Fits someone 5'10" to 6'1" or so in the 230 to 260 lb range. Comes with drygloves, hood and installed boots size 12/13 This is ...

What size do you need? I have a like new USIA with undergarment That I can let go of at a great price but I'm a fairly large guy so it wont fit someone of slight build.

Re: Heater vest canister info
That holds true for older NiMh batteries but almost all Li-on packs have built in protection circuits as they are required for safety. Once drained below a certain point Li-on batteries will not recover and are forever ruined so the manufacturers put in the low voltage cutoff as well as an over char...
