Re: ThThTh 1/14
So i am throwing my hat in the ring for diving tonight. One question is this a 1 or 2 dive night? I am assuming 1 dive which means all you mr heater fans will be disappointed as I do not want to drag everything out for 1 dive. Besides Eric promised me Lumpies.

Re: Philippines Diving - Dumaguete or Puerta Galera?
So what did you decide to do? My wife is from Negros Oriental and last year I did some diving at Elderado Beach Resort. The one thing I noticed was the reefs just off shore have been pretty beat up by the typhoons they have there. I did 1 day of diving Apo Island and the reefs there are much better....

Re: Smash and Grab Theft!
Sorry to hear this happened. I dont know if it will help, but once I had issues with prowlers around my homes I installed security cameras. they have cameras i think for around a couple hundred dollars that mount to the windshield. Some have only one camera and some have two one to face forward and ...

Re: ThThTh 12/10/2015
Well with regards to Redondo with all this rain I wonder what the output of the storm water drain at the bottom of the stairs is like. I remember the day we had a club dive and it was MAJOR white water rapids. We had to climb on the rocks and around the side of the concrete deck to get to the stairs...

Re: Lake Union dive to find lost boat keys (any restriction?)
Ah, come on guys. I have done over a hundred dives in Lake Union and found lots of great stuff. That said if you get caught you might get yelled at. When my friend Jim found a body on the bottom and called it in the cops had the nerve to yell at him for diving there. That was all over 10 years ago....

Last night I emailed a couple people at the City of Burien about the parking at Three Tree. This is the email I received this morning Jeff, Public Works is putting the finishing touches on a neighborhood parking plan for the area you mention below. I will be back in touch with you once the plan is f...

Re: Parking at Three Tree North
This is what it looked like around 11am Thursday 8/13 and Tom and I decided to do redondo and not deal with it. Last year the lady on the right called police on fishermen. The truck to my right should not be parking there and if you parked along the hedge there is no access to get between the vehicl...

Yes I will be meeting Tom Nic for the 11am dives and thought I would bring up the fact I have seen alot of fishing going on the Puyallup river so does this mean salmon season is upon us? If so many of you should know TTN parking is near impossible during fishing season. Seen the lady in the house on...

Yep earlier dives work for me and I am open the the dive site as long as it is one of your south sites. Would love to do Cove 2 again someday. Maybe I should ask does anyone have extra weight pouches or recommend a brand? I have Deep Outdoors right now and I do NOT like them at all. Might go back to...

Re: Watch your gear at Cove 2
As it is hard to dive and watch your stuff at the same time, I had been looking into small either window mount or rear view mirror mount cameras for inside the vehicle. They seem to be priced reasonable and would give you a much better idea of what happened then eye witnesses.

Re: Samsung Note 4 destroyed by salt water
I took it to a place in Bellevue and they are going to try to give it a chemical bath and power it on. The positive prong is missing for the phone so they will have to probably take it apart somewhat. I had look into data recovery labs, but have not found one yet. Most seem to have testimonials from...

Samsung Note 4 destroyed by salt water
My wifes phone got wet with salt water on our vacation. It was submerged for at least 15-20 minutes and one of the battery contacts inside the phone is missing. Probably fried off. It will not power up or show up on any computer. I am wondering if anyone has the expertise to take this thing apart to...

Re: Restoration project at Saltwater State Park
Saltwater has a bathroom, parking and benches which are all nice. I suppose they could put some sort of conveyor or rope tow to drag me out to the reef. It doesn't seem so long after having swam to Bachelor Rock . I would vote for some kind of catapult device to help you get OUT there. What would y...

Re: Diver missing in Tacoma?
If the story is as reported, it is an object lesson in how bad group diving in Puget Sound is as a practice. Even when our viz is good, it's not good; if you have eight people in the water, it's just all too easy to lose track of one of them. I have been in situations where people wanted to dive as...
