Need a refresher, just blew the dust off my gear

I'd appreciate recommendations for private instructors for a refresher course in the Seattle area (I'm in Issaquah). If a couple other folks are in a similar situation maybe we could get a small class together with an instructor. (Maybe I missed it but I didn't see anything on the local shop calenda...

Re: Hollis F1s locally? (Seattle metro)

Do you like short, silted dives with a mooch?

I’ve purchased a drysuit, undergarment, regulators and a whiz-bang computer (which I think does depth; yep, I’m sure it shows depth on one of t...

Re: I've made a terrible mistake

Apologies for being late in my thanks for the warm welcome but I’ve stayed away due to shame. After all your advice to try out different gear before buying, well… I swear I only went in during the sale to buy a drysuit because I felt confident about what I wanted. However, inside the shop things wen...

I've made a terrible mistake

I confess that I took open water just for a new experience. I expected it to be like tandem paragliding, zip lines, bungee jumping or mealworm brownies: try it – have fun – move on. But now I have a problem. I enjoyed it. A lot. Suddenly and without warning, I’m faced with getting a truckload of new...
