Re: PLEASE READ: Pacific Northwest Dive Expo - May 3 and 4
I thought it was great! I tried on a weezle, and will be getting one soon. Cotton long underwear doesn't work very well. One thing I wish was different, there were not a lot of advertized deals on gear. If you really talked to some of the guys they went mention a discount but nothing that stood out,...

I was thinking too hard about finding a cheap boat. All I need is a cheap motor, and a free table from the dump.....

Re: Edmonds Underwater Park
I too was wondering about the 70' deep part. Are you joking or serious? But my main question is: Has anyone seen a octopus or wolf eel in the park? I am diving there today and I was wondering if either of these might be seen. I have dove there many times but have not seen one yet. Thanks, Sheahan

ORDiver, are you wearing a sasquatch outfit? That's awsome! I hope you don't get shot.

Re: Anybody diving a DC Z-tech?
When I was looking for a suit, I didn't know about the z-tech either. But I do have comments on the Z-Flex. I absolutly love it!!! It's stylish too. You can add pockets easy, and cheap. I didn't even have to trim the seals, but im skinny. I dove a DUI 50/50 on many dives before I got my own suit, I ...

Re: drysuit drying and storing
I planned on the tubing to be regular steel. I was just worried about the casters, since I wash the stuff off on the rack. I think if I powdercoat it I won't have to worry about paint peeling. Powdercoat is cheap, and my co-worker has an oven!!!

Re: Camano Is. Dives?
Ok I got it now. I need to pick up one of these chart programs if they show things like that. I would love to try diving these sites. However I need to read up on judging currents, tides, and navigation. Still a noobie.

Re: Camano Is. Dives?
That’s a big stretch then “just south of the state park”. Maybe they were telling you fish stories, however I remember my dad saying they had a scuba class when he was in the scouts. So maybe there is some merit too it. Did you look online at charts? I looked at it from google earth and it seems lik...

Re: Camano Is. Dives?
I defiantly will let you know! I am looking for some form of transportation for the water. However, I am getting married in August so I am not allowed to spend any money unless it’s for the wedding. So I am trying to find a free boat……even a canoe on craigslist. (Ok maybe a little bigger then a cano...

Re: drysuit drying and storing
Little late but I have a question too about drying my suit. This is my drying rack, but the problem is since I got my new dry suit it's not tall enough. If I make it taller I won't be able to reach the top to hang the suit upside down so I can rinse it. Any Ideas? Also: Has anyone seen stainless ste...

This is about all the dive boat I can afford! All it would need is a dive flag and an attachment point underneath. It’s just a dive buoy with a motor.

Re: Underwater features - placing them legally or not?
So with all this grand discussion, I have a question of opinion. “Smike” and me were diving north of Mukilteo Wed. and this was the only group of life we saw during the whole dive. The rest of the time was just sand, sand, and more sand! What do you think should be done with item such as this ring t...
