Re: WTB: HP100 Doubles (or 2 matched singles)

I've got a set of Worthington 100s doubled up, haven't dove them in five years or more, I'll dig them out of the closet and check manifold for brand.

Re: Altitude Diving and Nitrogen Narcosis

That doesn't seem right. You're right, Narcosis is brought on by partial pressure (Henry's Law), so you really should see no real difference in Narcosis. And you already know other things can influence narcosis, cold, dark, CO2 loading etc. Decompression is a whole different story due to your satura...

Re: New Diver in Monroe WA

Welcome aboard and good luck this weekend!

The popular group dive is the ThThTh dives that usually happen at Redondo (south of Seattle) on Thursdays.

Might be a bit of a drive from Monroe, but totally worth it to meet people.

Re: 797 Softnolime for sale

if you think it matters dont buy it. I've been using 2019, I'm not dead. Its been kept temp controlled, low humidity, shaded area. If you are worried about risk, I'm sure if we compared types of dives done, if I'm using even slightly older Sorb for the dives I do.... I've seen the expired sorb thre...

Stuff lasts for well past expiration. I'm still using 2019 stuff.
July of 2020?

Selling expired sorb? It may last way past expired, but it seems like a big liability for the seller.

Re: Seattle area shore dives some guidance or suggestions

Also I thought about a dive just east I think east of Les Davis past the RAM eatery along shore there are 100 or so pilings with a bike stuck on one. No doubt shallow but probably a fun place to explore. Plenty of parking across road and an easy walk to the water That's called the Ruins by many. It...

Re: Equalizing *After* Diving

It's way worse with a rebreather. I have "crunchy ears" anywhere from a day to two days after a dive depending on deep, time and how often I've been diving. http://www.dansa.org/blog/2018/04/06/oxygen-ears-faq https://www.scubadivingchicago.us/carbon-dioxide/note-performance-of-a-careful-d...

Sun 7-22 - Port Townsend Waterfront Awesome in the 0-10' depth, then it was murky until about 50' and then opened to 20'~ at depth Splashed around noon at the Maritime Center and @60South had the timing spot on, the current was pretty much non-existent and we had a nice leisurely hour dive out the r...

Sun 7-15 - Mukilteo T-Dock Milky white viz was about 6-12" down to about 30' then it opened up, getting better as we went deeper. We probably had 20' or so at 130'. Hit the geodome on the second pass through, lot's of fish hanging out, including a big rat fish. Pretty good current though and it...

Where is "The General"?

I work in S-dale, and could use a couple 2lbers. I can pick the rest up and distribute them out to others as long as they promised to get them recertified.

WDFW website says Area 12 (Hood Canal - South of the bridge) opens on the 30th.

Looks like only Areas 11 and 13 will not open this year.

PTownsend waterfront was 8`ish. Pretty hazy.
Dove with 60South and A-Aron, thanks for coming along fellows.
