Re: Lost SMB and Reel

North, however there was heavy surf that day and if he lost it when he first got in, it may have wandered if the smb itself unspooled.

Re: SiTech Valve Help Please

DUI on the warm neck collars use to use clear silicone (like for around faucets and shower doors) not sure if they still do. Just as a double check as well, you can try sucking (yes I said it) on the threaded male end of the exhaust valve when it's out of the suit. You shouldn't be able to get air t...

Hey FYI DUI has a Gen 2 neck seal which is bigger than the Generation 1. DUI also retrofits most other drysuits with this system now as well.

Just a reminder guys, its great practice to take a picture of a piece of paper with owners info on it. Then don't delete that picture. I do this with any device capable of taking a photo (phones, land cameras, etc)

I agree with MPenders to discuss what kind of suit you'll need with Chris. If you are going to embrace the free diving way of life their is a specific type of suit used for freediving. Chris can be reached at

I have used them here with not much to see due to our specific life but I had employee who did a study abroad in Bonaire who found this to be her favorite dives up there. They did them regularly at night so I would try it if I was you.

Re: Question storing spare seals

I put my seals in a ziplock bag, roll the bag up and put into a black 2" pvc tube capped at each end. This keeps them dark, the ziplock keeps them away from the pvc, and keeps them safe from getting poked while in my save-a-dive kit. Its worked for me so far.

Lost/Stolen HP80 Tank at Redondo

Hey Guys and Gals, I lent one of my wifes tanks to a diver tonight for a dive to Redondo. A diver offered to carry the tank up to her car after dive 1. He set it next to her car door on the passenger side, she thought he put it in her car. Nevertheless, it wasn't there when they went to look. So I a...

Knee Deep,

I think one of our dive staff found your computer tonight. Because there is a date inconsistency on the dive log send me a pm of the serial number. I'm sure it is yours but David would like to know it is for sure going to the right owner. He will bring it to the shop Saturday.
